Synopsis
Todd, a young boy, receives a call from Emmy, Clover, and Finn, characters from his favorite television show, “The Big Red Telephone.” During the call, the puppets ask Todd, “Where do you want to go?” With the support of his mother, Todd answers the question with an enthusiastic “I wanna go to the moon and be a rockstar!” Years later, his mother has passed and Todd is responsible for himself. Rather than processing his mother’s passing, Todd carries around her urn as if it's her. Todd stumbles upon a re-run of their episode of “The Big Red Telephone.” When the puppets make the call, a phone rings in Todd’s home. Upon answering, Todd realizes the puppets are calling him again to answer the same question 15 years later, only this time he does not answer. Todd’s hesitation causes the puppets to cross over into the real world and forces his home into an infinite void. Upon arrival, the puppets pester Todd with a fast paced musical number titled “Todd, Where do you want to go.” Todd accidentally drops his mother’s ashes into the void surrounding his home before collapsing. When Todd comes to, he finds himself stuck in this place along with the puppets. As the situation worsens, the puppets disappear into nothing as Todd lies to himself about what he truly wants. After recalling a fond memory of his mother, Todd realizes where he truly wants to go.
